JOB SUMMARY
The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and operational efficiency of the CVG Campus including CVG 100, 200 and 300 server assembly manufacturing facility. This role ensures compliance with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations, optimizes facility performance, and supports continuous improvement initiatives aligned with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards. The ideal candidate has experience in manufacturing facilities management, preventive maintenance programs, and vendor coordination. Oversee, direct, and coordinate the maintenance, construction, and care of grounds, buildings, and building equipment. Management of Facilities Department to ensure the establishment preventive management and safe working policies and procedures which ensure compliance with company, customer, and government regulations within any of the following functions: health and safety, industrial hygiene, or environmental protection.
LOCATION
This role will be based on-site at our Florence, KY facility.
SHIFT
Standard day shift hours - Approx. 8am-5pm Monday-Friday; this role will require to be on-call in case of emergencies/urgent needs, as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Facilities Maintenance & Operations:
Oversee daily facility operations, ensuring all building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security) function efficiently.
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and enhance equipment reliability.
Manage facility infrastructure projects, including renovations, expansions, and equipment upgrades.
Ensure proper maintenance of critical manufacturing environments, including, ESD-controlled areas, and server testing rooms.
Coordinate with IT and engineering teams to maintain power, cooling, and environmental controls for server assembly and testing operations.

LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Recruitment and Retention:
Recruit, interview and hire Maintenance Supervisor, and Technicians.
Communicate criteria to recruiters for Maintenance position candidates.
Coach Facilities staff in the interviewing/hiring process if required.
Monitor team member turnover; identify key factors that can be improved; make improvements.
Employee and Team Development:
Identify individual and team strengths and development needs on an ongoing basis.
Create and/or validate training curriculum in area of responsibility.
Create and manage succession plans for the Facilities function.
Performance Management:
Establish departmental goals and objectives in accordance with industry standards, and overall improvement / profitability of the company.
Perform team member evaluations professionally and on time.
Drive individuals and the team to continuously improve in key operational metrics and the achievement of the organizational goals.

Communication:
Provide communication forum for the exchange of ideas and information with the department.
Organize verbal and written ideas clearly and use an appropriate business style.
Cost Management:
Negotiate contracts for building maintenance, repairs, and capital improvement projects.
Management of capital budgeting, staffing and planning for Facilities Maintenance and EHS Management with regard to continuous improvement.
Owner of continuous cost reductions for facilities operations including utilities, maintenance and consumables.

TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and cost-conscious management.
Facility management and maintenance including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, environmental and janitorial disciplines.
Maintain the positive image of our facilities and grounds for our customers, our employees and our stakeholders.
Establish, maintain and improve our total productive maintenance program for asset management centered on CMMS.
Support lean manufacturing and 5S principles to enhance workspace organization and efficiency.
Lead initiatives to improve facility workflows, optimizing space utilization and operational effectiveness.
Project management execution in a cross functional environment with multiple customers and direct conflicts.
When possible and/or practical, exchange knowledge and information with other Jabil facilities to ensure best practices are shared throughout the Jabil organization.
Assure that procedures and work instructions are efficient and not redundant.
Demonstrate a commitment to customer service; anticipate, meet, and exceed expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively; making customer issues a priority.
Ensure 100% adherence to all company policies and procedures (i.e. EHS, Security, and Quality).
