CNC Machinist

Aerotek is looking for CNC Machinists in the Northern Kentucky area.

Job Description

Join our team and contribute to the global manufacturer of air flow, motion control, power transmission, and power generation solutions. As a CNC Machinist, you will play a crucial role in manufacturing products that convert power into motion and vice versa, enhancing efficiency worldwide. Our products support a wide range of industries including HVAC, commercial refrigeration, food processing, and more. We offer positions for both skilled machinists and entry-level operators. Skilled machinists will be placed directly on the second shift or third shift, while trainees might start on the day shift and transition to the second shift or third shift within a year based on performance.

Skills

  • Being able to program/modify Conversational or G&M code

  • Proficient in operation of CNC mills and/or lathes

  • Ability to perform machine set ups and/or tooling changes from day one

  • Proficient in reading blueprints

  • Possess solid problem-solving abilities

  • Must be able to use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gages)

Job Type

This is a permanent direct placement position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Florence, Kentucky.

Work Environment

Our state-of-the-art facility located in Florence, KY, is air-conditioned—a rarity in machine shops. We ensure that all necessary tools are provided to our machinists, and specific safety gear requirements like STB's or metatarsal shoes are dependent on the department. This environment not only supports but enhances your success and safety in the role.

Compensation

  • $26-32/hour dependent on experience

  • 2nd and 3rd shifts available

  • Bi-Weekly pay
