Note: Candidates must reside in the Fort Lauderdale area! This position is based out of our Headquarters in Fort Lauderdale

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES

Job Responsibilities for the SkyHop Global Florida Regional Director:

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including fuel policy and accident reporting procedures, among drivers.

  • Collaborate with HR to oversee station recruiting, ensuring full staffing at all times and timely completion of paperwork for new drivers and managers, including necessary licenses, permits, and registrations.

  • Hold drivers and Station Managers accountable to company standards and expectations.

  • Manage vehicle maintenance schedules and proactively ensure all vehicles are properly maintained under the hood and inside the van. Supervise fleet management across all locations to ensure compliance with DOT standards.

  • Direct station operations by collaborating with Station General Managers.

  • Develop and execute training plans.

  • Evaluate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as on-time performance, safety, payroll budgets, Net Operating Profit, and Service Compliance.

  • Analyze reports on station and employee performance.

  • Conduct performance reviews and manage disciplinary actions for personnel.

  • Travel within the state of Florida to provide management support as needed. You will be supporting 6 stations and growing!

  • This is a boots on the ground position- 60%-70% travel

Requirements

As a leader within the organization, you must be passionate about customer service, have experience in the transportation/airline or hospitality industry, and an understanding of DOT and Safety Compliance. Other requirements include:

  • 5-7 years of management experience

  • Ability to react quickly changing situations

  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays according to our 24/7/365 operation

  • Available during irregular operations, often due to weather conditions that affect flights around the country.

  • Strong leadership skills ability to work with employees from a variety of backgrounds and personalities

  • Experience working in a fast paced, high stress environment, preferably at a start up

  • Ability to prioritize tasks constantly throughout shift
