Genesee County Road Commission Senior Accountant - Payroll in Flint, Michigan
The Genesee County Road Commission is accepting resumes for a Senior Accountant (Payroll) to perform various accounting functions. Primarily responsible for the payroll and distribution of costs to proper jobs and accounts, maintain withholding and deductions records and process withholding payments to the proper authority. Applicants should have knowledge of current payroll laws and how they affect employees' and the payroll process. This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field (preferred) or a High School Diploma / GED with ten (10) years equivalent experience. Must possess a minimum of three (3) years of payroll experience and have extensive experience in Microsoft Office applications. A valid Michigan Driver's License is required. Salary range $55,471 - $62,339, with comprehensive benefit package included, but not limited to Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance, Life Insurance, paid holidays and vacation, pension and deferred compensation.
