Staff Management | SMX Recruiting Supervisor in Flint, Michigan

As a Recruiting Supervisor, you will oversee shift check-ins, attendance, and inquiries, along with client follow-ups. You will also manage recruiting tasks such as interviewing, hiring, and participating in job fairs. Additionally, you will support the Account Manager with payroll and scheduling when needed, ensuring smooth operations and strong client and associate relationships.

Salary Range: The hourly rate for this position is anticipated to range between $23.00-$25.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including but not limited to experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills and experience, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Essential Job Functions

  • Manage recruiting tasks, including interviewing, and hiring.

  • Participate in job fairs and community recruiting events.

  • Oversee shift check-ins and attendance.

  • Address associate inquiries and concerns.

  • Conduct client follow-ups during shifts.

  • Support the Account Manager with payroll and scheduling when necessary.

  • Handle disciplinary issues with associates.

  • Maintain organized applicant funnel and prioritization.

  • Provide excellent client service.

  • Utilize Word, Excel, STN, and Synerion software.

  • Maintain a personable and outgoing demeanor.

Experience

  • High school diploma or GED preferred

  • At least 1-2 years of related experience

  • Proficiency with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and/or Human Resources Inventory System (HRIS)

  • Knowledge of MS Office software: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word

  • Strong communications skills, both oral and written

  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Excellent problem-solving, multitasking, and analytical skills
