Job Title: Controls Engineer

Job Description

Designs and develops all aspects of electrical control systems for automated industrial machinery. The role involves PLC programming and familiarity with Automation Direct, Rockwell Products. Responsibilities include integration of HMI, servo and robotic motion, and vision systems via industrial networks. The engineer will specify electrical components, design, and document machine electrical schematics and panel layouts using AutoCAD or Solidworks Electrical. Responsibilities may extend to installation in-house and field technical support of PLC-based control systems. The position requires a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related area.

• Plan, develop, and document software for machine control, HMI, SCADA, and other control systems.

• Commission machines and systems, test, debug, and support factory acceptance testing.

• Generate content (text, screenshots) for the operations section of Operation and Maintenance Manuals.

• Facilitate discussions with customers and suppliers related to control systems, interfaces, and integration.

• Travel up to 10% (domestic and international) to support commissioning, integration, and site acceptance at customers’ facilities.

• Support customers by diagnosing and correcting controls-related issues on installed equipment.
