Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Lead Product Manager to join our Analytics & Innovation team, focusing on the Cognite Data Fusion (CDF) platform. This role is pivotal in driving the strategy, vision, and roadmap for the development and enhancement of CDF, which serves as the foundation for Industrial Data Contextualization and Open Industrial Digital Twin technologies. You will work closely with IT, business partners, data teams, and product owners to deliver high-quality products that leverage CDF's capabilities and platform tools. The role also involves exploring and integrating new capabilities, such as Generative AI, Language Models, and custom Data & Analytics and Digital Twin use cases built on top of CDF using Open APIs and out-of-the-box (OOTB) features.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive the strategic vision for the Cognite Data Fusion platform, ensuring it aligns with the organization's long-term objectives. Identify and prioritize new capabilities, such as Generative AI and Language Models, that enhance the platform’s value proposition.

  • Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive roadmap for CDF, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals. Prioritize features and initiatives that deliver the highest value to stakeholders.

  • Drive the innovation and continuous improvement of the CDF platform, including the development of new features and the enhancement of existing ones. Focus on expanding the platform’s capabilities in Industrial Data Contextualization, Digital Twin, and other key areas.

  • Work closely with Data Science & AI teams to integrate advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI models into the CDF platform. Ensure that the platform supports scalable and efficient deployment of these models, enhancing predictive insights and operational decision-making.

  • with senior leaders, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure alignment on product goals and strategy. Facilitate clear and ongoing communication, addressing challenges and fostering collaboration across departments.

  • Oversee the development of custom Data & Analytics and Digital Twin use cases on CDF, leveraging Open APIs and OOTB capabilities. Ensure that these solutions meet specific business needs and drive significant operational improvements.

  • Champion a user-centric approach to platform development, ensuring that CDF is intuitive, accessible, and meets the needs of diverse users across the organization. Promote platform adoption and advocate for enhancements based on user feedback.

  • Manage the product backlog, ensuring that it reflects the strategic priorities and is aligned with the roadmap. Utilize Agile methodologies to guide the development process, ensuring timely delivery of features and continuous iteration based on feedback.

  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the CDF platform, providing regular updates to stakeholders. Use data-driven insights to inform product decisions and optimize the platform’s performance.

  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks associated with platform development and deployment. Ensure that the CDF platform complies with relevant industry regulations and standards.

  • Lead and mentor a team of product managers, ensuring they are aligned with the platform’s vision and goals. Foster a collaborative and innovative culture, driving team performance and growth.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, related field or equivalent work experience. MBA or equivalent preferred.

  • 7+ years of product management experience required with a strong focus on platform development, data integration, and digital transformation.

  • Industry experience in Industrial Data Contextualization, Digital Twin technologies, or similar domains is preferred.

  • Proven experience in developing and executing product strategies that align with business objectives and deliver tangible results.

  • Expertise in Agile methodologies and backlog management, with a track record of successful product delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Understanding of marketing research, consumer marketing, customer marketing and product marketing.

Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) - The handling of a good as it moves through the typical stages of its product life: development and introduction, growth, maturity/stability, and decline.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, related field or equivalent experience. 7+ years of relevant experience
