Warehouse Worker

Pay: $23-24/hour

Shift: 5am-1:30pm or 11am-7:30pm

Location: Fife, WA

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving and putting away freight, picking and building pallets for orders, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. You will also assist in other areas as needed. Experience with stand-up Crown forklifts is essential for this position.

Responsibilities

• Receive and put away freight/stock

• Pick and build pallets for orders

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Assist other areas as needed

• Perform manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products

• Ship and receive goods

• Unloading, attention to detail, sorting, problem-solving, discrepancy checking, and auditing

• Verify items against the record of shipment and inspect condition

• Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specifications and transportation methods used

• Record received and shipped items according to established procedures

• Route materials, supplies, and equipment to inspection or stock areas

• Complete written and computerized documentation

Essential Skills

• Experience with stand-up Crown forklifts

• Attention to detail

• Problem-solving skills

• Ability to verify and inspect goods

• Experience in shipping and receiving

• Ability to complete written and computerized documentation

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Over 1 year of experience using the stand-up Crown forklift

• Experience with basiloid attachment on stand-up Crown forklift

• Ability to work 2nd Shift (11am-7:30pm)

• Comfortable learning new processes

• Training in safety procedures and warehouse operations

Work Environment

Our warehouse is a very clean environment, comparable to a Costco but even cleaner. The shift hours are 11am-7:30pm, with a 46-hour work week. Safety, accuracy, and productivity are our top priorities, and we emphasize ergonomic safety in our operations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of FIFE, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
