Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse Worker to join our team. The individual in this role will perform manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products. This includes receiving and putting away freight/stock, picking and building pallets for orders, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and assisting other areas as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive and put away freight/stock

• Pick and build pallets for orders

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Assist other areas when and where needed

• Operate stand-up Crown forklifts and PITs

• Perform shipping and receiving duties

• Unload, sort, and verify goods

• Inspect the condition of received goods

• Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment

• Record received and shipped items

• Route materials, supplies, and equipment to inspection or stock areas

• Complete written and computerized documentation

Essential Skills

• Experience operating stand-up Crown forklifts

• Attention to detail

• Problem-solving skills

• Ability to handle discrepancies and perform second checks and audits

• Ability to gather, verify, and pack items for shipment

• Experience with manual and clerical duties related to shipment and receipt of materials

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Comfortable with a training period involving safety training and learning company procedures

• Willingness to learn new processes and adapt to different methods

• Ability to work in a non-automated warehouse environment

• Open to receiving re-certification and evaluation for forklift operation

Work Environment

Our warehouse is a very clean environment, akin to a more pristine Costco. We currently have openings for the 2nd shift from 11am to 7:30pm. The work week is 46 hours, and the pay rate is competitive. We prioritize safety, accuracy, and productivity. Candidates will undergo safety training and learn our methods before starting on the floor. The initial month will involve learning various tasks to establish a routine with supervisors.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of FIFE, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
