JOB SUMMARY
* Hours: Monday - Thursday 6 AM - 4:30 PM, OT as needed *
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Carbon Fiber Operator to join our team. This role involves working with carbon fiber materials in a hands-on environment, where attention to detail, physical stamina, and safety are key components of the job. If you have prior experience with carbon fiber sanding or fiberglass, and you're comfortable working in a physically demanding environment, we would love to hear from you!
::: {#isPasted} Sanding & Grinding: Perform manual sanding and grinding of carbon fiber surfaces using hand grinders to achieve smooth finishes. This will be a significant part of the daily work. :::
Handling Carbon Fiber: Work with raw carbon fiber, composite materials, and fiberglass. Safely cut, shape, and prepare these materials for production.
Work in a Dirty Environment: Be comfortable working in an environment with dust, debris, and potentially hazardous materials. Full protective gear (PPE) will be required.
Tool & Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that hand grinders, sanders, and other equipment are in good working condition, clean, and safe to operate.
Quality Control: Inspect work to ensure quality standards are met, including surface smoothness, finish, and accuracy of dimensions.
Collaborative Work: Work closely with the team to meet production goals and deadlines while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Supply quality outputs in a timely manner to other departments. Interact with other manufacturing departments, follow safe work practices and quality procedures. Learn correct procedures for: housekeeping, safety, machine/equipment use, department procedures, inspection, equipment maintenance, and processing department paperwork (i.e. prints and work orders).

Utilize proper housekeeping procedures; keep the department clean and organized at all times.
