Responsibilities
- Check quality of fabricated members to assure that all products meet contract specifications, related codes, and Crystal Steel quality standards.
- Identify inspected members in accordance with Crystal Steel standards.
- Ensure received materials, parts, and consumables meet all quality standards.
- Participate in providing welder and fitting training.
- Witness welder certification testing.
- Record and maintain Quality Control (QC) logs.
- Calibrate welding machines and QC tools.
- Organize quality related processes such as drawing control.
- Collaborate with production and management teams.
- Participate in training for continued improvement of the QC team and of Crystal Steel.
- Participate in safety training.
