Job Title: Civil Project EngineerJob Description

A civil consulting company based in Federal Way is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to support the development of large communities, residential land development, and commercial projects in the Puget Sound area. The ideal candidate will have 3-8 years of experience in civil design engineering specifically for land development. They must possess a strong knowledge of layout, grading, stormwater, and utilities. An EIT license is required, and a PE license is highly desired. Candidates should have an interest in pursuing project management.

Responsibilities

• Support large community, residential land development, and commercial projects in the Puget Sound area.

• Provide civil design engineering specifically for land development.

• Utilize strong knowledge in layout, grading, stormwater, and utilities.

• Collaborate with the project team to ensure successful project delivery.

• Pursue project management opportunities.

Essential Skills

• 3-8 years of experience in civil engineering for land development.

• EIT license required.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

• Local experience and a strong understanding of Washington requirements for stormwater.

• Experience with grading and utilities design.

• Strong knowledge in site layout, drainage, and site planning.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.

• Professional Engineer license desired.

• Experience in project management.

Work Environment

The position is based out of the Federal Way office with some flexibility for remote work. The team prefers to work in the office for collaborative purposes, with the potential to work towards a hybrid model of 2 days at home. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00
