Ansible Government Solutions Physician Assistant (PA) in Fayetteville, North Carolina

Overview

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting multiple Physician Assistant’s to support the Fayetteville VA Medical Center located at 2300 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, NC 28301. Multiple shift schedules are available. If you accept employment with Ansible, you must also acknowledge that any assigned schedule is subject to change at the direction of either Ansible or its customers.

Responsibilities

  • Providing high-quality care, increasing access and improving outcomes for Veterans.

  • Obtaining and evaluating medical histories; performing physical examination; performing therapeutic and diagnostic procedures; and ordering laboratory studies, radiographs, electrocardiograms, and other special examinations.

  • Diagnosing and developing individualized treatment plan in various clinical settings.

  • Establishing professional working relationship with clinical service providers within the medical center.

  • Providing telephone consultation; screening consults for appropriate and timely care prior to scheduling; and communicating with inpatient multidisciplinary team members.

  • Must be able to work independently, as allowed by VA policies, with delegated prescriptive authority for appropriate classes of medications.

  • Prescribing medications and providing education and counseling to Veterans and their families regarding medical condition, prescribed treatments and drugs, diagnostic options, review of treatment plans, discussions of patient goals, etc.

Qualifications

  • Must be a citizen of the United States.

  • Graduate of a training program which is accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education of PA (ARC-PA) or one of its predecessor organizations. Additionally, candidates must meet one of the following: (1) master’s degree in any discipline; OR (2) bachelor’s degree in any discipline with one year of experience as a PA.

  • Must have successfully passed the PA National Certifying Exam (PANCE).

  • Must possess an active, current, full, and unrestricted license to practice in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia. PAs must maintain current registration in the State of licensure if this is a requirement for continuing active and current licensure in that state.

All candidates must be able to:

  • Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift

  • Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist

  • Lift up to 20 lbs

  • Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance

  • Push/pull with 30 lbs of force
