Eaton Corporation Operations Finance Lead in Fayetteville, North Carolina

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Operations Finance Lead. This position will be located at our Fayetteville NC Eaton facility and requires to be onsite 5 days a week M-F. The position also offers relocation assistance, if needed.

The Opeations Finance Lead will manage, develop, coordinate, and control of all Motor Center Controls (MCC) Orbital Finance Operations and Business Systems activities of the Fayetteville Businesses. Ensure policies, procedures, systems, and controls for the Operations Finance scope are adhered. Maintain effective and open communication with all departments to enhance teamwork and profitability. Participate in the Finance Operations Month end report out, rolling forecasts, Inventory reporting, CAPEX execution, profit plan and strategic plan. Interpret and prepare analysis of operating results versus budgeted plans and forecasts as requested for the Orbital Operations including MCC-Aftermarket, MCC Quick Line, MCC-HOU operation ramp up, MCC-PPC Liaison & PFC Operations Business Manager. Lead the reporting and forecasting efforts of extended Business units for PDCA operation reporting under Fayetteville Core operations.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $80250.03 - $117700.04 a year.

What you’ll do:

In this role:

  • Operations Finance lead for P&L's for all five orbital product lines. Perform profitability/cost analysis for the Product Lines as required include calculating customer job level profitability.

  • Perform Quarterly plant budget allocation review with Plant Staff for Product Line analysis and adjustments. Coordinate the development of new processes and the modification of existing processes to meet Business profit objectives.

  • Perform monthly product line analysis including review of Sales Billed projections as well as the preparation of the Sales/Cost analysis report.

  • Perform cost analysis to Sign over Sales & COGS for Month end for the Operations within Scope. Track for cost saving projects including audit of significant cost savings projects and Capital Type "B" (Productivity) projects.

  • Combine all Product Line Orders and Backlog data for the Fayetteville Plant. Assist in the monthly Financial Forecast as required.

  • Provide guidance & support to operations and leadership teams in pursuit of business goals and plant objectives. Implement and evaluate the effect of financial changes in practice and/or procedure as required by changes within the plant or division's operations, or as disseminated by Corporate or Division Headquarters.

  • Review plant's financial statements and reports with the Plant Finance Manager to aid the strategic decision-making process and to remedy any significant problems for the Orbital Finance Operations.

  • Lead with the Plant Finance Manager the preparation of the Profit Plan each year for the Orbital Finance Operations support the report out division, group, and internal stakeholders. Once approved and adjusted (top down) report out to FAY Orbital Operations Stakeholders.

  • Assists to Plant Finance Manager with special projects as required. And Function as main back up of presential deliveries within Orbital Operations Stakeholders.

  • Partner & collaborate with Central Accounting & Compliance teams (GFSS, NAC, IA, SOX & Compliance) in line with Operations Finance Scope in line with US-GAAP & IFRS.

Qualifications:

Basic REQUIRED Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting from an accredited institution.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Finance or Accounting.

  • Must be able to relocate to Fayetteville, NC. Relocation assistance will be provided, if needed.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree or advanced degree and/or licensed CPA

  • Five years of experience in a Finance r role.

  • Experience in an engineered to order manufacturing facility.

Skills:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint, PowerBI).

  • Proficient with financial reporting systems (i.e. Oracle, Encore) and MRP/ERP software (i.e. MAPICS).

  • Experience with Eaton systems: Vista and AS400.

  • Technical knowledge in standard product costing, budgeting, payroll, preparation of financial reports, cost accounting, and fixed asset accounting.
