The Assistant Personnel Movement Coordinator is responsible to the Personnel and Group Movements Supervisor for ensuring each section performs their duties as required. The Personnel Movement Coordinator (PMC) is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the United States Army Cadet Command Personnel Movement Coordination Section on Fort Bragg, NC and other areas designated by the Contracting Officer. Responsible for planning itinerary and scheduling travel accommodations for military and civilian personnel in accordance with travel orders using knowledge of routes, types of carriers, and travel regulations. Responsible to ensure inspection of scheduled Charter Buses prior to departure, preparing documentation, and filing reports for Group Moves services. In Addition, the Personnel Movement Coordinator will arrange commercial charter bus transportation utilizing the Group Operational Passenger System (GOPAX) or with SDDC approved carriers. Ensure customers are provided courteous and professional service. Responsible for the efficient management of all assigned equipment, and facilities.

MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:
Arrange travel involving Commercial Charter buses utilizing information on carries, modes and facilities for carriers servicing the area and coordinate schedules
Verify travel orders to ensure costs, availability, and convenience of various types of carriers, selecting the most advantageous route and carrier.
Arrange Group Moves Travel using commercial charter buses.
Maintains records of inspection and makes necessary reports.
Receives and review invoices for accuracy or changes. Ensure invoices are submitted by the Commercial Charter Carrier.
Send payments to Commercial Charter Carriers after movements are complete.
Performs other duties and assignments as required.
Qualifications
MINIUMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATES:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Must have a valid State Driver’s License with no restrictions.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
Must be able to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship, such as a birth certificate or a U.S. Passport.
Must be able to maintain driving privileges aboard the Fort Liberty Installation.
EXPEREINCE:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in transportation, preferred.
Minimum of 4 years’ of related experience in an office setting.
Candidate must have knowledge of DoD Regulations
Possess the ability to proficiently utilize Group Operational Passenger System (GOPAX).
Must have the ability to provide information and reports, resolve issues and recommend actions to improve delivery of services to the customers.
The technical knowledge and practical knowledge of transportation from military or related civilian occupation.
Experience with verifying orders, accounting documents and inspection checklists.
Extensive interaction with section employees and the customer is required.
Work hours are 20 hours a week. Must be able to work nights, weekends, or holidays if necessary. Hours maybe adjusted to meet required workload.
Must be able to work under pressure and comply with published company work rules.
Working conditions also includes performing the requirements under certain time and resources constraints.
SKILLS:
Must have excellent computer skills including experience with Microsoft 365.
Requirements may include the ability to learn the use of additional software in a timely manner.
Must be able to speak, read, and write the English language.
Must have skills in verbal and written communications to conduct meetings, execute plans, and prepare reports, plans, and working instructions.
Must have the ability to work with a team or independently without direct supervision.
Must have strong work habits such as – initiative, good judgement and attention to detail.
Must be skilled in prioritizing work and responsive to the needs of others in the organization.
