Currently, we are looking for a Quotation Analyst to join the ArcBest team. The Quotation Analyst provides market-competitive rate quotes and meet revenue and profit goals for Customer Solutions. This role will also increase ArcBest’s footprint as a single source provider of logistical solutions.

Your contribution may include:

• Provide market-competitive pricing decisions for ArcBest’s spot quote markets while maintaining profitability and market share.

• Provide published rate quotes to customers.

• Make pricing decisions on multiple-quote scenarios.

• Evaluate and analyze the optimum mode(s) of transportation for shipments.

• Utilize negotiating skills and sales techniques in order to secure business.

• Answer customer and field questions regarding specific shipments and provide information on various logistical solutions.

• Resolve other customer-service related issues which may be outside the scope of the department, through training or contacting other areas for assistance.

• Evaluate and adjust quotes and freight bills, as necessary.

• Maintain a positive attitude in a highly intense environment.

• Must be detail oriented and enjoy a fast paced, multi-tasking, customer-service minded environment.

• Display sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure, with attention to detail.

• Work in a team environment to accomplish departmental goals and to meet the needs of customers.

• Other duties and projects, as assigned.

As the Quotation Analyst, you will be a member of the ArcBest Customer Solutions team. Your work hours will be 8:00AM - 5:00PM with occasional irregular hours depending on workload. Ready to apply? Before doing so, please make sure you meet the minimum requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferred.

Experience: Customer service, sales, and/or prior transportation knowledge preferred.

Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite, preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook.
