Northwest Alabama Mental Health Center Director of Children's Services - Fayette/Lamar - Full Time in Fayette, Alabama
Responsible for the overall functioning of the program, including compliance with all standards of operation by regulatory agencies, supervision of the program staff and their compliance with expected competencies. This includes the development and implementation of quality programs and the operation of programs and services in a fiscally responsible manner. The position is also responsible for counseling individuals or groups, developing and implementing a therapeutic treatment plan, and providing family support and education. The children who participate in this program are enrolled for counseling and treatment for behavioral issues.
Requirements:
- A master's degree in psychology, counseling, or social work that includes an internship and 1-3+ years of experience.
- Must be proficient in Word Processing, Outlook, and type 40+ wpm.
- Current/Valid non-expired driver's license, will drive on behalf of the center. To meet driving qualifications, you must be minimum of 21, and have an insurable driving record.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.; after-hours/crisis also possible.
Salary: Salary will be discussed during interview
