Job Title: Project Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Project Engineer to create and modify AutoCAD drawings and P&ID's for customers' refrigeration system needs. This role involves generating construction and electrical layouts and schematics, working with REVIT and AutoCAD 3D components, and actively participating in the creation of new drafting standards or practices. The Project Engineer will manage project scope from design to completion, collaborate with vendors and customers, and participate in Process Safety Management training and maintaining Safety Data Sheets. This position requires travel to customer sites for system installation approximately 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify AutoCAD drawings and P&ID's for customers' refrigeration system needs.

• Generate construction and electrical layouts and schematics.

• Work with REVIT and AutoCAD 3D components and actively participate in the creation of new drafting standards or practices.

• Actively participate in project goals and the implementation of new equipment installation, ensuring all required documents are completed, including equipment installation sketches and SOP development.

• Manage project scope from design to completion.

• Collaborate with vendors and customers.

• Actively participate in Process Safety Management training processes and maintaining Safety Data Sheets.

• Travel 25% of the time to customer sites for system installation.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and mechanical engineering.

• Experience in AutoCAD drafting, understanding of thermodynamics and heat transfer.

• Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with REVIT.

• Project coordination skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Engineering Degree - mechanical preferred, but open to industrial or manufacturing engineers with drafting and design proficiency.

• Working knowledge of creating and editing 2D, 3D, and isometric drawings.

• Understanding of thermodynamics and heat transfer.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $90000.00
