We are seeking a Warehouse/Logistics clerk in the Eastern Suffolk area. Responsibilities

Answers all warehouse office telephone calls.

Retrieves voice mail messages each morning and as required during the day. Notifies appropriate parties.

Answers incoming calls, takes messages, pages employees or transfers calls as required.

Follows Shipping and Inventory Control process flow rules and regulations. Investigates and follows up on all Inventory issues for the NY Warehouse

Investigates missing, extra pieces and damages from delivery and tracks down the piece(s) via CCTV. Informs customers and follows up on Pick Investigations and outcomes

Maintains integrity of the inventory by billing, recover and/or issue Credit/RMA for missing, extra, damaged piece(s). Issues Re-stock fee's incurred at Credit process if necessary

Assists in adding orders to delivery as requested by utilizing SQL report – Truck Load Calculator. Removes orders from pick and follows up with the Shipping Department to verify removal

Schedules Extra Trucks as requested by customers for Carriers: Aides in daily Truck Route Configuration.

Collaborates with Inventory Control to execute and validate Inventory adjustments for the Warehouses utilizing reason codes.

Verifies and approves Transportation Trucking Charges.
