work hours: 2 PM - 11 PM

education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Operating the Forklift:

• Safely maneuvering the forklift to load, unload, stack, and transport materials within a warehouse, construction site, or manufacturing facility.

• Handling various types of goods, such as pallets, containers, and heavy materials, depending on the work environment.

• Inspection and Maintenance:

• Conducting pre-operational checks of the forklift, including inspecting brakes, lights, horn, tires, and fluid levels.

• Reporting any malfunctions or damage to the forklift, ensuring that maintenance and repairs are promptly carried out.

• Performing minor maintenance tasks, such as refueling or recharging the forklift if necessary.

• Load Handling and Stacking:

• Safely lifting, lowering, and moving loads, ensuring the proper stacking to prevent accidents or damage to goods.

• Making sure that the load is stable and evenly distributed before transport.

• Safety Protocols:

• Following workplace safety procedures, including wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Maintaining a clear line of sight while driving and ensuring that the forklift is operated at a safe speed, especially in crowded or hazardous environments.

• Being aware of surroundings and avoiding obstacles or pedestrians while operating the forklift.

• Ensuring that the forklift is used within its weight and load limits.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• manual lifting up to 30lbs
