Hiring: 2nd or 3rd Shift Machine Operators!

Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and skilled Machine Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will start by learning the packaging aspect of the job, progressing to quality control, and finally being trained on setting up and tearing down machines.

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform packaging of parts on extrusion lines.

• Conduct quality checks and record results on the lines being packaged.

• Read and understand blueprints and job packages.

• Read counters, change lengths, and maintain records.

• Ensure the work area is clean and tools are accounted for.

• Perform preventive maintenance on machines.

Essential Skills

• Ability to read, speak, and write in English.

• Computer literacy as production lines have computer workstations.

• Strong mechanical aptitude.

• Understanding of basic mathematics.

• Good attendance is a must.

• Ability to work mandatory overtime when required.

Work Environment

You will work in a facility with 110 employees and 21 different production lines. Although the environment is not climate controlled, you are allowed to wear shorts in the summer. Each shift includes a 10-minute paid break and a 20-minute unpaid lunch break!

This is a Permanent position based out of Cannon Falls, Minnesota.

The pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $43680.00
