Kyyba, Inc. has an opening for the position of Manufacturing Engineer I (Ref# MEI113ST).
Work Location: Farmington Hills, MI and relocation required to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
Job Duties: As part of a team, design, integrate, and/or improve manufacturing systems and related processes. Provide support and basic troubleshooting for current operations. Investigate, gather, and analyze data for specifically assigned, recurring tasks. Establish routings, methods, layouts, tools, costs, methods documentation, quality plans, and labor standards for revisions to current operations and/or new parts or programs of limited scope. Identify and implement cost reduction, quality, safety, and ergonomic improvement ideas of limited scope. Work with electronic tools to perform engineering functions. Develop and implement plans of limited scope to support lean manufacturing through the client production system. Design operations layouts to improve material flow and material presentation. Support fabrication and operations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in operations, quality, material handling, safety, and environmental departments to ensure seamless daily operations and achieve production goals. Conduct continuous improvement projects to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency. Ensure effective machine maintenance and support spare parts procurement. Participate in team studies related to capacity, energy, productivity, and efficiency. Implement new manufacturing processes and technology. Utilize software including Lantek, Radan, Creo, SAP, and AutoCAD for enhancing manufacturing engineering processes.
Requirements: This position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. 40hrs/week.
