Job Summary

The Human Resource Intern will assist the HR department with a variety of tasks that contribute to the modernization and efficiency of our operations. This hands-on internship offers the opportunity to engage in meaningful projects, including the digitization of employee records and supporting HR processes such as recruitment, benefits administration, and compliance. You will work under general supervision and be provided with ample opportunities to learn about key HR functions while gaining practical experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Job Duties Assist in the digitization and organization of employee files, contributing to the modernization of our HR department. Support the creation and maintenance of HR forms and documents, ensuring they are up-to-date and accurate. Respond to basic employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and offerings in a timely and professional manner. Schedule and coordinate interviews, orientations, and training sessions for new hires and existing employees. Process employee status changes, benefits enrollments, and maintain accurate records. Input HR-related data into our systems, ensuring precision, and compile standard reports for management review. Ensure all necessary documents are completed fully and accurately, maintaining a high standard of detail. Uphold 5S standards by maintaining an orderly and clean work area, contributing to a safe and efficient workplace. Adhere to all Safety, Environmental, and Quality policies and procedures, promoting a culture of compliance. Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the HR team's needs and priorities.

Experience and Education Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create and manage spreadsheets, analyze data, and generate reports. Prior experience in an office setting or HR environment is a plus, but not required.

Competencies/Skills Ability to handle basic issues and escalate more complex matters to senior staff. Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), particularly in Excel for data analysis and reporting. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
