Description
We are looking for an experiencedCommercial Staff Accountantto join our Commercial Accounting Team.Responsibilities include full charge accounting for several commercial properties.
Responsibilities:
Accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and various other reports as required by ownership/management.
G/L account analysis and review.
Annual budget preparation.
Variance analysis.
Coding invoices for accounts payable and review of the A/P input.
Ensuring compliance with the management contracts.
Maintain building and review & interpret lease files.
Completion of CAM & RET Reconciliations.
Completion of YE Tax Workpapers.
Assist with the acquisition and disposition of assets.
Ability to work in a team environment and independently.
Ability to effectively communicate with property management and company management.
Special projects as assigned by the Accounting Manager, Controller and/or CFO.
Qualifications:
0 - 2years of real estate accounting experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Detail oriented and possess excellent analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills.
strong work ethic and have the ability to meet deadlines.
Experience in Yardi or equivalent program is a plus.
Good time management skills.
Must have the ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision to complete accounting duties and tasks successfully.
