Assistant Controller

Our Healthcare client, located in Farmington Hills, is looking for an Assistant Controller to join their team on an interim basis. The ideal candidate has exposure to the healthcare industry and related audits, experience with QuickBooks and ADP, and has worked in a multi-entity environment.

The day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Support the annual audit process to ensure accuracy and compliance, specifically with sales and use tax and PRF funds

• Utilize your knowledge of the healthcare industry to enhance financial operations

• Apply your expertise in revenue recognition to improve financial reporting and support audit requests

• Support various aspects of payroll using ADP software efficiently, including data imports, journal entries, and other analysis

• Review vendors, data and chart of accounts for newly created entity for consistency, mapping and accurate reporting

  Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following skill sets:

• Exposure to internal/external audit and managing multiple deliverables

• Experience with Sales & Use Tax is desired

• Familiarity with HealthCare Industry is ideal

• Experience with QuickBooks and ADP

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent
