Robert Half Payroll Supervisor/Manager in Farmington, Connecticut

Description We are offering a unique role in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Management industry located in FARMINGTON, Connecticut. This role is for a Payroll Supervisor/Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the payroll processing function within our organization and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This is a contract employment opportunity that requires specific skills in accounting software systems and payroll processing.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire payroll process, ensuring all payments are made accurately and on time

• Utilize accounting software systems to manage and organize payroll information

• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations related to payroll processing

• Use ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian to manage payroll functions

• Conduct regular audits of payroll information to ensure accuracy

• Manage benefit functions and ensure they are accurately reflected in payroll

• Use data processing skills to analyze and report on payroll data

• Use About Time software to track employee hours and ensure accurate payroll processing

• Handle inquiries and resolve any issues related to payroll processing

• Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll laws and regulations and ensure the company's compliance. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Experience with ADP Workforce Now

• Knowledge of Ceridian

• Ability to handle Data Processing tasks

• Experience with About Time software

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Auditing skills

• Knowledge of Benefit Functions

• Compliance management skills

• Previous experience in Real Estate Property/Facilities Management

• Proven track record as a Payroll Supervisor or similar role

• Excellent leadership and team management abilities

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field preferred.
