Description We are offering an opportunity for a Software Developer in the Insurance industry, situated in FARMINGTON, Connecticut. The new team member will be responsible for writing clean, scalable code using C# .NET programming languages, developing technical interfaces, specifications, and architecture, and coordinating with other software professionals and developers.

Responsibilities:

• Write clean, scalable code using C# .NET programming languages

• Develop technical interfaces, specifications, and architecture

• Develop client displays and user interfaces

• Assist software personnel in handling project-related work and other requirements

• Coordinate with other software professionals and developers

• Familiarity with the ASP.NET framework, SQL Server, and design/architectural patterns

• WPF with XAML experience

• Strong experience with T-SQL, SQL Server management, Stored Procedure creation

• Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)

• Understanding of Agile methodologies

• Strong attention to detail

• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills

• Able to work well in a team setting Requirements • Proficiency in ASP.NET and Microsoft SQL is required for the role.

• Candidates should hold a relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Proven experience in software development, preferably within the insurance industry.

• Strong understanding of software development principles, algorithms, data structures, and multithreading concepts.

• Demonstrated ability to write clean, efficient, and reusable code.

• Ability to troubleshoot software issues and implement effective solutions.

• Experience with version control systems such as Git.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking capabilities.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective team collaboration.

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.

• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum development methodologies is beneficial.

• Must be able to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality work under pressure.
