Zavza Seal LLC Project Estimator in FARMINGDALE, New York

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A FIELD ESTIMATOR POSITION. YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO VISIT CLIENTS HOMES/BUSINESSES TO REVIEW THE PROJECT, TAKE MEASUREMENTS, DETERMINE SCOPE OF WORK, ETC AND THEN PROVIDE QUOTATION FOR CLIENT.Home Renovation Projects (Waterproofing, Insulation, Concrete Work)We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for visiting clients' homes to assess their renovation needs and provide accurate and competitive estimates, specifically in the areas of waterproofing, insulation, and concrete work as well as general home reno projects. This role is critical to our business as it directly impacts customer satisfaction and project success.Key Responsibilities:Visit clients' homes to evaluate the scope of work for waterproofing, insulation, and concrete renovation projects.Engage with clients to understand their specific needs, preferences, and budget constraints.Conduct thorough site assessments, taking measurements and identifying potential challenges or additional work required.Prepare detailed and accurate estimates, including labor, materials, and time required for project completion.Present and explain estimates to clients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.Follow up with clients to discuss estimates and move forward with project planning and scheduling.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, material costs, and best practices in waterproofing, insulation, and concrete work.Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure estimates align with project plans and company goals.Utilize estimating software and tools to produce professional and accurate estimates.Keep detailed records of all estimates and client interactions for future reference and follow-up.Qualifications:Minimum of 1 years of experience in home renovation, with specific expertise in waterproofing, insulation, and concrete work.Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and explain technical details in a clear and understandable manner.Attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and cost calculations.Proficiency in using estimating software and other relevant tools.Valid drivers license and reliable transportation for site visits.Ability to work independently and manage multiple estimates simultaneously.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in sales or customer service.Familiarity with local building codes and regulations.Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.What We Offer:Competitive salary and commission structure.Opportunities for professional growth and advancement.A supportive and collaborative team environment.
