Project Engineer - Level l to join our Project Management Team for New Product Introduction (NPI). This position is tailored for a recent college graduate with a background in mechanical engineering or a related field, serving as an entry-level opportunity to kickstart your career journey. As a Project Engineer - Level l, you will participate in crafting engineering solutions that drive business expansion. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to address customer and manufacturing needs. This role offers an opportunity to apply engineering principles, transition towards project management, and explore diverse sectors such as Medical, Aerospace, and Industrial. Take charge of developing, strategizing, and overseeing New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from inception to production. As a Project Engineer - Level l, contribute to the smooth and punctual completion of NPI projects while upholding top-tier quality standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Serve as a technical resource within the Project Management team, to support business development for new production or process introduction (NPI) projects. In this position, you will be supporting and driving actions of a project throughout the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) cycle.

Assist and execute assigned NPI projects to achieve related business objectives in alignment with the companys strategy, mission, and ethics. Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers, manufacturing partners, and internal team members. Provide design and specification support from the projects inception to pre-production stages of the product lifecycle. Provide comprehensive RFQ support and feedback in response to customer inquiries. This involves reviewing drawings and completely capturing the customers expectations. Support the sourcing team in sending out RFQs to suppliers and following the inquiry through to receipt of supplier quotation. Support manufacturing feasibility assessments and provide input on design for manufacturability (DFM) considerations. Coordinate prototype activities, process validations, and production readiness for new products or processes. Perform baseline contract review on the purchase order to ensure all aspects of the manufacturers quote and customer quote are addressed. Support other project team members on customer and maintenance issues and tasks. Review of manufacturing data including, but not limited to, process data and first article reports as applicable. Compile project-related documentation, such as project plans, timelines, charters, deliverables, and scope of work. Prepare and deliver project status updates and reports to project management team and other stakeholders as required. Assume additional responsibilities as required. Responsible for conforming with the companys quality management system requirements, contributing to its effectiveness, and the ultimate goals of customer satisfaction, product compliance and ethical practices/behavior. Travel 5-10%, depending on project requirements. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/EDUCATION

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field of study. Completed at least one internship which aligns with required field of study. Must be able to read and understand mechanical prints. Ability to take initiative and lead, or contribute, in a team environment Compelling verbal and written communication skills Detail oriented, highly organized and able to multitask under pressure Strong problem solving and analytical skills Proficient using Microsoft Office 365 Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook (email/calendar). PREFERRED EXPERIENCE / SKILLS / EDUCATION:

Masters in Engineering, Business/Project Management or related field. Experience in a manufacturing setting Experience with Microsoft Project or other equivalent software. Familiarity with industry regulations, standards, and quality systems (e.g., FDA, ISO9001, ISO13485, AS9100).
