Industry Leading Environmental & Construction Company, is seeing a Junior Estimator & Chief Estimator, to join their team in Farmingdale, NY! This is an excellent opportunity for growth, that provides full benefits as well as a competitive salary!

Job Description:

• Develop precise and comprehensive estimates for environmental and fuel facility projects.

• Generate accurate take-offs for all construction phases, detailing material costs and labor breakdowns.

• Source prices from vendors and subcontractors for materials, equipment, and services.

• Conduct site visits and participate in bid walks and pre-bid conferences to assess site constraints and logistics.

• Collaborate with the Junior Estimator to complete bid packages thoroughly.

• Oversee proposal writing to ensure estimates are consistent, well-written, and complete.

• Prepare written correspondence and technical reports as needed.

• Participate in weekly estimating meetings and contribute actively.

• Lead estimating transfer meetings for awarded projects with the construction team.

• Communicate with clients, customers, and government representatives regarding project details.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of estimating experience

• Ability to travel on site 5 days a week

• Knowledge of estimating software

• 3-5 years of estimating experience in the construction, environmental, or similar industry.

• Ability to manage and generate project estimates for projects ranging from $25,000 up to $5,000,000
