Job Description:

Provides leadership and manages, directs and evaluates clinical operations of the Respiratory Care Department. This includes assisting with implementation of a strategic plan and program development functions, development and implementation of systems to facilitate clinical practice; and assists with the management of personnel and fiscal resources.

Education Qualifications:

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Respiratory Therapy preferred

Work Experience:

Minimum of 3 years experience in a related health care setting. Leadership experience in a healthcare setting.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist or registry eligible or a Certified Respirator Therapy Technician as defined by the National Board of Respiratory Care.

NBRC RRT credentialing must be completed within 12 months of hire.

Respiratory Therapist licensure through the appropriate state(s) Boards of Medical Practice.

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certified within one month (MMES excluded).

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required or obtained within 6 months
