Job Title: Painter
Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Painter to join our team. The successful candidate will primarily work in the paint booth as a powder coater, but will also assist with prepping and QC parts. This role involves painting various parts, ranging from small handheld items to full-sized trailer beds. The ideal candidate should be willing to learn new techniques and processes and be committed to performing all work safely.
Responsibilities
Work primarily in the paint booth as a powder coater
Assist with prepping and quality control of parts
Powder coat paint parts of various sizes, from small items to large trailer beds
Learn and apply new techniques and processes
Ensure all work is performed safely
Essential Skills
Ability to read blueprints
Proficiency with tape measures
Experience with hand tools
Experience with power tools
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Willingness to learn is the top priority in the paint department
Experience with prep work, blasting, powder coating, or pressure cleaning is beneficial

Work Environment
You will be working in a standard metal shop environment, with fabrication on one side of the building and weld/assembly on the other. All paint and blast operations are conducted in a separate building. Expect to be on your feet most of the day, working as part of a small team of 2-3 people per project. The first shift runs from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday, with occasional work on Fridays. The second shift starts at 4:00 pm and ends at 2:30 am.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00
