Job Description:

Essentia Health is seeking a casual/as needed experienced Technologist to join our team and provide as needed/PRN support. Hours of coverage would include day hours Monday through Friday and potential call coverage on the weekends and holidays. Provides health care services using radionuclides to assist in diagnosis or treatment of a patient. Performs nuclear medicine, PET and CT exams/procedures and related techniques. Is responsible for the independent operation of nuclear medicine equipment and for providing high quality diagnostic images to the radiologist and referring physicians.

Education Qualifications:

Educational Requirements:

  • Graduate of a Committee of Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA), accredited nuclear medicine program

OR

  • Completed an internship in Nuclear Medicine that allows for eligibility to sit for the ARRT or NMTCB registration

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

Certification/Licensure Requirements:

  • Current American Registry of Radiographic Technologists Nuclear Medicine (ARRT)(NM) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) licensure

If North Dakota, must have current license on North Dakota Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners (NDMIRT) upon hire

Job Location: 32nd Avenue Building

Shift Start/End: 7:00/4:00
