Job Description:

Utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision making skills, works independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. Provides health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. They may care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted in age-related category and area of expertise.

Education Qualifications:

• Full time position – specific to EP

• Monday-Friday 8a-5p

• Treat adult inpatient & outpatients

• Position will be 90% hospital w/2-3 pm slots for 1 month follow-ups EP & post-ablation patients

• No call coverage

• Potential for outreach in future; would require MN license and DEA at that time

• Skill set includes but not limited to hospital rounding, independent clinic visits, vast knowledge of heart & vascular pathophysiology, and strong patient communication and educational skills.

• Experience in Cardiology required

NP: Master's degree in nursing

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

NP:

Current licensure as a registered nurse in appropriate state.Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in appropriate state.Current certification in CPR.National certification in applicable area.Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice

PA:

Current licensure as a physician assistant in appropriate state.Current certification in CPR.National certification.Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice

Shift Start/End: 0800/1630

Hours Per Pay Period:

Compensation Range: $53.82 - $64.58 / hour
