We are seeking a skilled and detailed oriented Kitchen assistant to join our dynamic culinary team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the preparation and presentation of delicious meals and exceptional food service. Kitchen:
-Assist in food preparation, including chopping, dicing and slicing
-Support the cooking process, ensuring dishes are prepared to the highest standards
-Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations
-Assist with food handling and storage procedures
Help with cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment and utensils
Catering:
-Provided excellent customer service skills, responding to guest inquiries and requests
-Outstanding organizationalskills
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude, adhering to company policies and procedures
Office:
Complete clerical tasks assigned by the supervisor (with training)
Menu development
Experience:
Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is required
Strong understanding of food preparation
Familiarity with food handling and storage procedures
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues
A passion for food and a commitment to providing exceptional food service
