Naval Medical Command MANAGEMENT ANALYST in Falls Church, Virginia

Summary You will serve as a Management Analyst in the Plans and Business Policy Directorate of BUREAU OF MEDICINE AND SURGERY. Responsibilities You will serve as project leader. You will provide analysis and accounting of total force manpower. You will draft official correspondence to field activities. You will perform independent and extensive management studies concerning proper manpower mix (civilian, military, contract), staffing patterns and correlations between workload and staffing. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: Providing comprehensive analyses and accounting of total force manpower for over 100 major activities. Maintaining a comprehensive quantitative and qualitative total force manpower accounting system to ensure conformance with current policies and procedures of Department of Defense (DoD), Department of the Navy and other higher authority. Drafting official correspondence to field activities. Maintaining liaison with all levels of management in DoD. Maintaining records of manpower transactions affecting Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) activities. Utilizing both Navy and BUMED's organizational structure and a working knowledge of instructions and directives as they pertain to manpower management. Experience with Total Force Manpower Management System (TFMMS), Excel, Microsoft Word, and Access databases.
