Aston Carter Finance Manager in Falls Church, Virginia

As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing month-end, quarterly, and year-end closings, managing the general ledger, and reconciling accounts to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data. You will prepare and manage financial reports, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and GAAP standards. Your role includes developing and implementing financial controls and policies, managing corporate tax obligations, and collaborating on finance, accounting, and payroll activities. Additionally, you will monitor cash flow, handle budgeting and forecasting, and prepare management reports. You will also conduct financial analysis, manage the stock valuation process, perform financial risk assessments, and coordinate with external auditors and internal teams for annual audits. Furthermore, managing relationships with banks, investors, and other financial institutions will be crucial. Staying updated on industry trends and changes in financial regulations is also expected.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in Accounting and Finance

  • Experience in GovCon

  • Proficient in Costpoint

  • Employee Stock Ownership Plan/401k experience
