The candidate will be an integral part of the Facilities team at Northrop Grumman’s Corporate Office in Falls Church, Virginia has an opening for a Facilities Representative to join our Workplace Services team of qualified and diverse individuals! The selected candidate will work on site in Falls Church, VA and the Dulles Hangar with visits to Arlington, VA and Capitol Hill on a scheduled and as needed basis.
Job Functions:
Responsible for assembly, disassembly, reassembly, and delivery/installation, of high-quality modular office furniture systems
Provide a high level of customer service to ensure an excellent customer experience.
Reviews floor plans and executes space planning
Installs all types of modular furniture to include placement, leveling, and touch-up of metal and wood furniture; inspects furniture for proper operation according to manufacturer guidelines.
Experience with purchasing, parts ordering, and budget coordination
Overseeing work performed by suppliers to verify adherence to the purchase order/scope of work, quality of work, and safety
Help schedule and coordinate outside vendors for repairs and service evaluations.
Help develop and modify the Preventive Maintenance standards and instructions in Maximo in support of the engineering team
Managing contractor labor
Receiving, reviewing, prioritizing, and registering facilities work requirements
Being onsite to support and coordinate emergency requests as well as inclement weather events
This role will act as the point of contact for specific suppliers
Will make presentations to small groups
Team coverage support will begin as early as 6am and end at 6pm
Basic Qualifications for Level 3:
Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of related work experience or Master's degree with 4 year of experience or Associates degree with 8 years of experience or High School Diploma with 10 years of experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Experience working with furniture installation
Experience with facilities landscaping and landscape maintenance
Detail oriented and able to understand facility and team goals
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Project, Word, and PowerPoint
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to positively interact with workers, contractors, management, and customers
Experience working with suppliers or vendors
Ability to work on-site in Falls Church, VA and support other satellite offices

Ability to read drawings, schematics, and interpret detail
Experience with AutoCAD, Maximo, and other CMMS systems
Experience with Archibus/Integrated workplace management software
Salary Range: $88,700 - $133,100
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
