Join General Dynamics IT and be a part of a team that solve some of the world's most complex technical challenges. The Army’s EGUN program is seeking an IT Asset Manager to join their team! Based in Falls Church, VA , this new program is an exciting way to launch your career further than ever!

This is a remote teleworking opportunity.

AGUN is an IT Service Management contract in support of GENM-O’s mission is to enable information dominance from the tactical edge to the home station for the Army, DoD, National Command Authority, and international partners by acquiring, implementing, and sustaining strategic satellite and terrestrial communication systems, and by leveraging technologies to meet current and future requirements.

AGUN will design, procure, maintain, deploy, and transition a Global SDN solution in accordance with applicable Army policies and regulations. The AGUN-INC1 TO will provide a unified approach to ensure standardized deployments and configurations at multiple locations throughout the globe.

Asset Manager (aka Deputy Log Manager) - T ypical Duties Include:

  • Recommends and establishes an effective technology life cycle that spans from IT asset selection, operation, refresh, migration, and optimization to the retirement and disposal of the asset.

  • Monitors and optimizes IT asset utilization through established methods and procedures.

  • Forecasts IT asset demand and planning for increases and decreases in demand, including asset refresh schedules and software renewal cycles.

  • Manages SOPs for verifying and auditing the accuracy and completeness of the system of record and Asset Refresh Schedule for each device classification and purchase classification in accordance with the Government-approved process and policies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS (or equivalent experience)

  • 3+ years of experience managing assets in an IT environment

  • Experience with logistics management and software products

  • Secret clearance

Travel:

  • It is anticipated that some personnel will be required to travel on Temporary Duty (TDY) to various CONUS and OCONUS locations.

The likely salary range for this position is $59,670 - $80,730. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
