Robert Half Sr. Tax Accountant in Fall River, Massachusetts

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a diligent Sr. Tax Accountant in Fall River, Massachusetts, United States. The successful candidate will be expected to process individual and corporate tax returns using the Thomas Rueter UltraTax software. This role demands a high level of organization and dependability, and requires the ability to multitask effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Process individual tax returns accurately and in a timely manner

• Handle corporate tax returns with high precision

• Utilize Thomas Rueter UltraTax software for various tax-related tasks

• Maintain a high level of dependability in managing sensitive financial information

• Multitask effectively between different tax-related duties

• Ensure more than just individual experience in tax processing

• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks

• Handle multiple customer inquiries and resolve them efficiently

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

• Maintain accurate customer credit records. Requirements • Must possess a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• At least five years of experience in a tax accounting role.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.

• Profound knowledge and experience with Ultra Tax software.

• Solid understanding and experience in both Corporate and Individual Tax Return.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

• Familiarity with current tax regulations and laws.

• Experience in tax research and planning is preferred.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Must maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Willingness to stay updated with industry trends and changes in tax laws.

• Ability to explain complex tax concepts to non-finance colleagues and clients.
