Job Summary

The Water Spider/Floater is responsible for ensuring a smooth flow of materials and supplies to the production line. This role is essential for maintaining efficiency and minimizing downtime by promptly delivering necessary items to workstations.

Key Responsibilities

• Material Handling: Transport materials and supplies to and from the production line, ensuring all workstations have what they need to operate smoothly.

• Inventory Monitoring: Keep track of inventory levels and report any shortages to the team.

• Coordination: Work closely with production staff to understand their material needs and adjust deliveries accordingly.

• Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols while handling materials to maintain a safe work environment.

• Support Production: Assist with additional tasks, such as cycle counts and other inventory-related duties, as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

• Experience: 1-3 years in a manufacturing or warehouse environment as a Water Spider, Floater, or Material Handler.

• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

• Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, with basic math skills for inventory tracking.

• Safety Awareness: Knowledge of workplace safety practices.

• Technical Proficiency: Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems are a plus.
