Job Posting: Quality Technician
Responsibilities:
First Article Inspections (FAI): Perform and document FAI as required, serving as the primary owner of the FAI process.
Presentation of Findings: Present FAI findings to all relevant stakeholders.
Documentation: Complete detailed reports and performance records to document inspection outcomes.
Unit Inspections: Inspect a variety of units using measuring and inspection instruments.
Measurement and Functionality Checks: Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare findings to specifications.
Quality Control: Address quality control concerns promptly and work towards their resolution.
Receiving Inspection: Perform receiving inspections as needed.
Record Maintenance: Maintain inspection records and system transactions for the Material Review Board (MRB) process.
Calibration Support: Support the maintenance of calibrated equipment and perform related tasks.
Daily Correspondence: Send daily MRB correspondence emails.
Requirements:
Experience: 5+ years of quality assurance experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred).
Education: High school diploma or GED (equivalent experience will be considered).
Metrology Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of Methods of Measurement.
Certifications: Certification as a Calibration Technician or Precision Measurement Equipment Laboratory is strongly preferred.
Oracle Experience 2+ years of experience with Oracle.
Microsoft Office: Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
Industry Standards: Understanding of industry and quality concepts and standards such as ISO and NIST.
Blueprint Reading/GD&T: Knowledge of blueprint reading and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T).
Calibration Standards: Proficient understanding of the interpretation of calibration standards and effective methodologies.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills.
Compliance: Adherence to company and legal requirements, following safe work practices, and contributing to a positive health and safety culture.
Pay 20-30/hr

Pay Details: $20.00 to $30.00 per hour
