TERM OF EMPLOYMENT:Full-Time, 10-Month, Probationary Position
STARTING DATE:February 2025
SALARY RANGE: $48,000 - $78,401 per school year
*Actual Salary Is Dependent Upon Education, Experience and Contract.

DUTIES:
Provide instruction to high school and adult students preparing for careers in Collision Repair.
Implement Individualized Educational Programs (IEP’s) to meet students' needs.
Oversee all activities that provide high school students with a hands-on, practical experience in Collision Repair.
Implement curriculum according to New York State secondary school standards and practical applications.
Attend faculty and professional development meetings.
Arrange for speakers, field trips, community service and shadowing experiences for students.
Work in a team environment that fosters the philosophy of collaborative planning and an interdisciplinary approach to learning.
Communicates with school staff, parents, districts, and community agencies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 4 years of paid industry experience in automotive maintenance and repair.
OR-
Associates degree or higher in Automotive Maintenance and Repair, plus 2 years of paid industry experience in automotive maintenance and repair.
Career and Technical Teaching Certification for Vehicle Body Repair and Painting, grades 7-12, required.
Willing to work collaboratively with team members to effectively support the needs of all students.
Commitment to supporting students’ social emotional and academic development.
Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively communicate with adults and students.
Physically able to perform essential functions of the position (with or without reasonable accommodation).
