NATURE OF WORK: Under supervision, the incumbent provides ongoing assessment, intensive group and individual therapies, family, individual and group supportive counseling services, and educational lectures in an intensive residential treatment setting with adults who have a primary diagnosis of chemical dependency. Through the performance of job duties, the incumbent assists the residents being served to increase understanding of the degree to which chemicals have impacted their ability to function, to accept personal responsibility for their disease, and to develop a plan of recovery from addiction. Qualifications Ability to perform Essential Duties as outlined below. Masters Degree in the Human Services field. Currently hold a professional license, e.g. LCSW, LPC; or actively pursuing. Current Certification as an Addictions professional preferred. One to two years previous experience working with the chemical dependency population.
