Job Title - Department Compliance Manager (Consumer Lending) - Compliance Location

This position is 100% remote within the Bank's footprint. Employee will work full time remote outside of a WesBanco location (may occasionally attend in person meetings, although primary functions of the role are performed remotely). Market Upper Ohio Valley Work Hours per Week 37.5 Requirements

SUMMARY: Provide regulatory guidance and support to assigned departments of the organization. Conduct regulatory reviews and perform regulatory monitoring to assess the organization's level of compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Provide Compliance training and participate in organizational projects as a compliance consultant.

Assist the Chief Compliance Officer in advocating and facilitating the development, implementation, communication, and maintenance of the bank's Compliance Program. Responsible for all facets of the compliance program for assigned line of business areas, including full compliance with Federal and State laws, rules, and regulations, including Fair Lending laws, and laws addressing the company's compliance with Unfair Deceptive Abusive Acts and Practices statues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists the Chief Compliance Officer with overall management of the bank's Compliance Program. Responsible for developing and strengthening the bank's compliance with Federal and State laws and regulations, as well as bank policies and procedures. Initiates and facilitates collaborative partnerships with Line of Business management and corporate partners to ensure Compliance Risk is adequately managed. Assists with the development of strategic compliance goals. Identifies and escalates Compliance issues to management. Oversees evaluations of Line of Business compliance processes and assures effectiveness. Identifies opportunities, establishes action plans, and drive solutions to improve the bank's Compliance Program. Partners with Corporate Training department to develop awareness of Compliance risk, develop training, and direct continuing education programs as they relate to regulatory requirements. Participates in the analysis of policies and procedures, scoring systems, trends, current regulatory environment, prior examination findings, and internal audit issues to develop an understanding of the bank's compliance risk. Assesses the adequacy of line of business recommended corrective action to the issue or gaps identified. Reviews and escalates compliance testing results. Reviews and updates applicable line of business compliance risk assessment. Reviews customer facing communications for technical compliance with regulatory requirements, as well as clarity under Unfair Deceptive Abusive Acts and Practices standards.
