Job Title: Procurement Specialist

Job Description

As a Procurement Specialist, you will demonstrate extensive knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100C standards. You will bring a strong mechanical aptitude along with knowledge of financial systems, team management, and power generation systems. Overall, you will be managing the buying process for specified goods. The role involves placing and tracking purchase orders, maintaining supplier relationships, and updating ERP systems. Desired skills include strong communication, problem-solving, project management, and the ability to negotiate contracts. You should be proficient in interpreting mechanical drawings, electrical drawings, and P&IDs, as well as understanding machining processes.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the focal point for sourcing and project management.

  • Participate in project proposals.

  • Handle duties that fall outside the scope of this description as needed.

Essential Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100C standards.

  • Knowledge of financial systems, team management, power generation systems, and gas compression systems.

  • Proficiency in interpreting mechanical drawings, electrical drawings, and P&IDs.

  • Understanding of machining processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience performing quality checks with precision measuring equipment.

  • Strong knowledge of blueprints and weld symbols.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
