SGI Global, LLC Subject Matter Expert - Instructor Development Course (IDC) in Fairfax, Virginia
SGI Global LLC is seeking a Subject Matter Expert to assist in the update and development of a Instructor Development Course (IDC) course. The position is part time.
Job Duties:
Provide subject matter expertise and technical assistance to update the law enforcement training course.
Responsible for updating all training materials as required by the client.
Responsible for ensuring the accuracy, quality, timeliness, and completion of all tasks.
Complete draft lesson plans according to an agreed-upon Schedule.
After completion of course update, present the updated presentation materials in abbreviated form as the course is intended to be delivered.
Travel for both course design and walk-through meetings is required
Job Requirements:
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in a related field such as law enforcement, education, or management. Three years of subject-matter-related work experience may be substituted for 1 year of education
Five (5) years of experience as a training manager or supervisor of a law enforcement, military, or law enforcement academy. Experience includes:
Mentoring or coaching new instructors
Instructional design or education related field
Experience with law enforcement training must be within seven (7) years.
Previous experience as an instructor of adult learners at a recognized local, state, federal, or military law enforcement institution.
Demonstrated management and administrative experience in the delivery of training
