Job Summary: The Aircraft Hangar Equipment Coordinator will provide planning, oversight, and leadership to ensure the South Hangar is well organized and maintained in a safe, clean, orderly, and efficient fashion. The Aircraft Hangar Equipment Coordinator will work with both the EAC and EAA maintenance personnel to set goals and follow them through to completion. The position will also be responsible for organizing all equipment located inside and around the South Hangar as well as providing suggestions to improve our storage capabilities for the associated areas.

Essential Functions:

1. Maintains a safe working environment by keeping the area clean and removing any physical hazards inside and outside of the hangar.
2. Collaborates with department leads for proper hangar usage.
3. Assists with weekly inspection of flammable cabinets and storage racks for expired shelf-life items.
4. Maintains compliance with all Company Safety and Environmental programs.
5. Verify all hangar equipment is up to date on pre-use and scheduled inspections daily.
6. Ensure ground equipment is inspected daily and inspection logs are completed. Follow up/report all discrepancies
7. Assist mechanics with cleaning of line service vehicles, minor maintenance, repairs, and painting hangar service equipment.
8. Assist with aircraft maintenance as required.
9. Follow all company procedures when operating ground support equipment (external power carts, hydraulic mules, hydraulic lift platforms, tow tugs, forklifts, compressed gas cylinders, etc.).
10. Ability to use sheet metal shear, band saws, skill saws, drills, and other common tools to create tooling containers and shipping crates.
11. Assists parts room with preparation of shipments, including packing, boxing, and crating.
12. Assists with performing internal audits of the parts room and hangar in preparation for live audits.
13. Assists the building maintenance department with minor hangar maintenance.
14. Assist GSE as required.
15. Escorts various private and company personnel unfamiliar with the airport grounds as requested.
16. Ensure all man doors entering and exiting the hangar are free and clear of snow and maintenance with sand during snow and slippery seasons.
17. Assist with special projects as assigned.

Be familiar with the Companys Safety Management System (SMS) and Occupational Safety Manual (OSM). 3. Contribute to the Safety Culture of the Company and report any Safety Hazards. 4. Required to learn and understand Dangerous Goods Transportation requirements. 5. Keep your work areas clean and free of hazards; correct unsafe conditions when encountered and report those, that you are unable to personally correct, to a supervisor.

Physical Abilities: The physical requirements indicated below are examples of the physical aspects that this position must perform in carrying out essential job functions.

1. Ability to reach horizontally and vertically with arms. Sufficient dexterity to manipulate small objects and print or write legibly.
2. Sufficient physical ability, strength, mobility, and stamina to lift, carry, push, or pull objects which may frequently exceed 70 pounds in a series of functional tests which clearly simulates the work environment.
3. Physical ability to sit for extended periods of time.
4. Requires the ability to be sedentary for extended periods of time.
5. Shall perceive the nature of sound, near and far vision, depth perception, providing oral information, the manual dexterity to operate business related equipment, and handle and work with various materials and objects are important aspects of this job.

Qualifications: 1. Must be eligible to work in the United States. 2. Previous experience operating a variety of warehouse related equipment. 3. Previous building maintenance experience is a plus. 4. Must possess a valid drivers license.
