Job Summary:
The Aircraft Hangar Equipment Coordinator will provide planning, oversight, and leadership to ensure the South Hangar is well organized and maintained in a safe, clean, orderly, and efficient fashion. The Aircraft Hangar Equipment Coordinator will work with both the EAC and EAA maintenance personnel to set goals and follow them through to completion. The position will also be responsible for organizing all equipment located inside and around the South Hangar as well as providing suggestions to improve our storage capabilities for the associated areas.

Essential Functions:
Maintains a safe working environment by keeping the area clean and removing any physical hazards inside and outside of the hangar.
Collaborates with department leads for proper hangar usage.
Assists with weekly inspection of flammable cabinets and storage racks for expired shelf-life items.
Maintains compliance with all Company Safety and Environmental programs.
Verify all hangar equipment is up to date on pre-use and scheduled inspections daily.
Ensure ground equipment is inspected daily and inspection logs are completed. Follow up/report all discrepancies
Assist mechanics with cleaning of line service vehicles, minor maintenance, repairs, and painting hangar service equipment.
Assist with aircraft maintenance as required.
Follow all company procedures when operating ground support equipment (external power carts, hydraulic mules, hydraulic lift platforms, tow tugs, forklifts, compressed gas cylinders, etc.).
Ability to use sheet metal shear, band saws, skill saws, drills, and other common tools to create tooling containers and shipping crates.
Assists parts room with preparation of shipments, including packing, boxing, and crating.
Assists with performing internal audits of the parts room and hangar in preparation for live audits.
Assists the building maintenance department with minor hangar maintenance.
Assist GSE as required.
Escorts various private and company personnel unfamiliar with the airport grounds as requested.
Ensure all man doors entering and exiting the hangar are free and clear of snow and maintenance with sand during snow and slippery seasons.
Assist with special projects as assigned.
