Residential Behavior Specialist

Full Time, Mercer County

Up to $65,000 based upon experience.

No staffing shortages, clinical staff are able to focus on their clinical role.

Maximum Caseload Size - 6 Individuals.

Set hours - Mon - Fri, 3 pm - 11 pm.

Who We Need:

The Residential Behavior Specialist is responsible for providing clinical behavior support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of behavior analysis principles and ABA practices working with individuals with developmental disabilities. This role will be under the direction of a supervising BCBA for therapy and data collection.

What We Need:

  • RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) - Preferred, required after 6 months.

  • This is a hybrid/operational role - candidate will support and interact with consumers in a Residential Group Home setting.

  • Identifies needs for training and develop training to staff on behavior interventions and strategies.

  • Document behavioral interventions and outcomes through the use of individual progress notes.

  • Assist with gathering information and data for assessments.

  • Establish ongoing communication with psychiatric and mental health providers.

  • Serve as an analyst to the Interdisciplinary Team

  • Monitor implementation of Behavioral Support Plans.

  • Maintain a flexible schedule, to accommodate the varied needs of the program.

  • Maintained behavioral documentation in electronic health records and other tracking systems.

  • Coordinate with the medical department on behavioral issues.

  • Attend meetings for behavioral-related issues.

    What You Need:

  • ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) is preferred

  • Minimum of six months experience working in Human Services and Developmental Disabilities.

  • Experience with adult DDD population and DDD regulations preferred.

  • Experience in implementing behavior modification techniques.

  • Experience in the development of behavior modification strategies preferred

  • Good interpersonal, organization, and writing skills.

  • Ability to define problems, establish facts and draw valid conclusions necessary.
