Residential Behavior Specialist
Full Time, Mercer County
Up to $65,000 based upon experience.
No staffing shortages, clinical staff are able to focus on their clinical role.
Maximum Caseload Size - 6 Individuals.
Set hours - Mon - Fri, 3 pm - 11 pm.
Who We Need:
The Residential Behavior Specialist is responsible for providing clinical behavior support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of behavior analysis principles and ABA practices working with individuals with developmental disabilities. This role will be under the direction of a supervising BCBA for therapy and data collection.
What We Need:
RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) - Preferred, required after 6 months.
This is a hybrid/operational role - candidate will support and interact with consumers in a Residential Group Home setting.
Identifies needs for training and develop training to staff on behavior interventions and strategies.
Document behavioral interventions and outcomes through the use of individual progress notes.
Assist with gathering information and data for assessments.
Establish ongoing communication with psychiatric and mental health providers.
Serve as an analyst to the Interdisciplinary Team
Monitor implementation of Behavioral Support Plans.
Maintain a flexible schedule, to accommodate the varied needs of the program.
Maintained behavioral documentation in electronic health records and other tracking systems.
Coordinate with the medical department on behavioral issues.
Attend meetings for behavioral-related issues.
What You Need:
ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) is preferred
Minimum of six months experience working in Human Services and Developmental Disabilities.
Experience with adult DDD population and DDD regulations preferred.
Experience in implementing behavior modification techniques.
Experience in the development of behavior modification strategies preferred
Good interpersonal, organization, and writing skills.
Ability to define problems, establish facts and draw valid conclusions necessary.
